His candidacy aims to introduce a working-class perspective to the Statehouse, characterized by attentive listening, honesty, and a commitment to advocating for the residents of this community.

A Marine, a Neighbor, a Voice for Licking County

Mason Blankenship is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, community leader, and advocate for working families running to represent the people of Ohio’s 68th House District.

A former Machine Gunner In the Infantry and Marksmanship Instructor, Mason served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, including deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The discipline and sense of duty he learned in service continue to guide his life today.

After returning home, Mason earned his Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from Franklin University and built a successful career as a Product Manager, helping protect families and small businesses across multiple states. His work taught him the importance of accountability, fiscal responsibility, and putting people before profit — lessons he believes government should live by.

Mason has spent years mentoring veterans and first responders through organizations like Save A Warrior and the Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and community.

Now, he’s running for State Representative with a simple message:

Now Is a Time for Leaders, Not Politicians.

Mason lives in Licking County, where he continues to champion transparency, integrity, and opportunity for all Ohioans.
